In the last week, Republicans have engaged in unprecedented attacks against our democracy.

In North Carolina alone, state Republicans nominated a right-wing billionaire to redraw new legislative maps, and then they used a 9/11 memorial as cover to undermine Democrats’ votes.

This put the importance of our quarterly fundraising goal in stark perspective – if we’re going to take a unified stand against the subversion of our democracy, we HAVE to be able to put our money where our mouths are.

But right now, we’re not on pace to reach our goal, and with September nearly halfway over, we’re running out of time to catch up. Chip in $10 before September 15 to help us reach our mid-month target and support the candidates fighting for our democracy. >>

The focus these days might be on the Presidential race, but we CANNOT forget about what’s happening in state houses across the country.

Debate coverage has dominated the news cycle, but there are elections in critical state races this year that hardworking state Democrats are gearing up for. For them to have a chance to take on the GOP in ruthlessly gerrymandered districts, we need to have their backs.
