In the last week, Republicans have engaged in unprecedented attacks against our democracy.

In North Carolina alone, state Republicans nominated a right-wing billionaire to redraw new legislative maps, and then they used a 9/11 memorial as cover to undermine Democrats' votes.

This put the importance of our quarterly fundraising goal in stark perspective - if we're going to take a unified stand against the subversion of our democracy, we HAVE to be able to put our money where our mouths are.

The focus these days might be on the Presidential race, but we CANNOT forget about what's happening in state houses across the country.
