John: we have a quick update for you on the $400,000 Path to Progress fund.
The good news: Your grassroots support has had a huge impact on the race so far. Record numbers of North Carolinians are turning out to vote - well over half of registered voters have submitted ballots already!
The bad news: While Democrats started with a big lead in these early votes, a new report from The News & Observer found that Republicans were "catching up" with Democrats.
Our team ran the numbers, and we're still roughly $7,500 short of our daily goal. With just a single day left of early voting, we need to make sure our momentum is as strong as possible.
In 2016, Roy won by just TWO VOTES per precinct, we can't take even a single vote for granted and many people remain undecided!
Donald Trump and the extreme right are pulling out all the stops to swing the election to Roy's far-right opponent, and we can't afford to fall short of our goals one single day.
John: Can you rush $10 right now to help us hit this goal and elect Democrats up and down the ballot this Tuesday? New donors like you can make a huge difference!

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
