John, I can’t watch the ad Ron shared in his email below without thinking of my own kids.
And how I would do anything to ensure their safety, their health, and their happiness.
I can’t stop thinking about the horror and trauma of the children separated from their parents and locked in cages by men who wear our nation’s flag.
It makes me feel embarrassed, and appalled, and furious.
But we’re not helpless. We can and we must do something about it in four days.
I’m voting for my children, John. Watch this video and ask yourself—who are you voting for?
That little boy could be one of my own children. He could be one of yours. Or, he could be a child whose parents are risking it all to secure a better future for him.
That little boy’s entire life is ahead of him, and it’s dependent on the actions we take today, in this very moment.
I know who I’m voting for, John. Do you?

From the start, then-Attorney General Jeff Session said:
“We need to take away children.”
And now, there are 545 children—intentionally separated from their parents by the Trump White House—who are alone in this world.
545 children who will never hear “I love you” from their mother or father.
545 children who have been orphaned by the unimaginable cruelty of Trump, his sycophants and his enablers.
545 children who have undergone, and will experience, untold trauma throughout their childhoods.
America is—or at least, was—a beacon of hope around the world that a better life is possible...

Instead, brutal, vicious sadists have commandeered our country and exploited the worst in us.
It takes a certain kind of evil to separate children from their parents that I still cannot believe has festered in this country.
John, this is our one and only chance to do something about it. When this election ends in just six days, Americans will decide if this is who we’ve become, or if we’re better than Trump.
I believe whole-heartedly that we are better.
We are not him.
He is not us.
We will vote.
He will lose.
But we have to finish the fight.
Can you rush a contribution of $100, $50, or $17 right now so we can place this ad in Texas, Arizona, and Florida, and expose the remorseless cruelty of Trump, his allies and enablers?
There are no do-overs or mulligans, John. We are in the fight for the fate of our Republic.
