It goes without saying: This has been an incredibly difficult time for our country. Truthfully, it's been a difficult four years.

President Trump has led with a complete disregard for honesty, decency, and integrity. And now, he has mismanaged our country's response to a devastating pandemic and economic crisis.

At the same time, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has refused to do his job in the Senate, blocking progress and legislation -- including desperately needed relief for American families -- while ignoring the will of the American people and jamming through another hyper-partisan Supreme Court justice.

It's shameful.

I know you might feel disheartened, and if that's the case, I understand. There are real threats to health care, our environment, voting rights, equality, and our democracy.

But the story doesn't end here. Four days from now, we have the chance to course correct.

If you can, chip in to the Southwest Leadership Fund right now to help Democrats win on election night >>

We can't let fear get the best of us. That's what Trump, McConnell, and others want to happen.

We need to keep working.

Our chance to flip the Senate and take back the White House from Trump are growing, and energy and enthusiasm is at an all-time high. Record numbers of Americans have already cast their ballots early.

We need to harness and maintain this grassroots momentum. The outcome of the elections depend on it.

We need to fight with everything we have -- for our families, for our communities, for our country. So I'm personally asking: If you can, will you chip in a few dollars to the Southwest Leadership Fund to help send Democrats to sweeping victories on November 3rd?

Cheers,

Tom
