TABC offers training for alcohol delivery drivers

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) has created a new training course available for alcohol delivery drivers. The course was created to ensure that alcohol delivery, now allowed in the state, is done safely and within the law. "As the state's regulator of alcohol, it's critically important that we help drivers and their employers make the best choices when it comes to selling and delivering alcohol safely and within the guidelines established by the Texas Legislature," said TABC Executive Director Bentley Nettles.

Walmart turns four stores into e-commerce laboratories

As online sales continue to surge, Walmart is turning four of its stores into laboratories to test ways that the company can have a more powerful presence in e-commerce. Employees at these test locations will use digital tools, store design features and different strategies in attempts to speed up restocking shelves and fulfilling online orders. Walmart's 4,700 U.S. locations position the retailer to easily fulfill online orders for curbside pickup or delivery.
