Heineken to cut costs to guard against pandemic

Heineken is gearing up to "streamline" its head office and regional offices to cut costs as it continues to face the unpredictability of a COVID-19 world. The company reported that it expects a reduction of around 20% in related personal costs, and implementation will begin in the first quarter of 2021.

Pantry loading is back, says Walmart CEO

Walmart CEO Don McMillon told the Yahoo Finance All Markets Summit that another wave of pantry loading is underway in the face of another COVID-19 surge across the U.S. "As COVID cases continue to rise, most shoppers believe we're headed for another shutdown and plan to respond accordingly, so retailers should be prepared for a new surge in stocking up," said Darian Pickett, CEO of North American sales at Acosta.
