During the debate with Peter, Alek Skarlatos was asked if everyone should wear a face mask in public to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Here's what he said:

"Yes, I do believe that everyone should. And I do do it in public... I do believe everybody should do their part to help prevent the spread of coronavirus."

Here's Alek in the days since then: [photo of Alek Skarlatos at an event without a mask]

This is a metaphor for Alek's whole campaign: his words do not match his actions. He tells Oregonians what he thinks we want to hear, but when he believes no one is watching, he's on board for the same dangerous right-wing ignorance.

Share this post on Facebook, and warn all of Oregon not to take Alek Skarlatos at his word.

We've got less than one week. Let's make every day count.
