voters.

You read that right: Six million text segments reaching infrequent voters
and the newly-registered in our 13 targeted states that we need to defeat
Trump, flip the Senate, and win local elections up and down the ballot.

Here’s the bad news: We only budgeted to send 5 million.

On Nov. 4, we’ll be out of time. Let’s make sure we wake up that morning
having mobilized as many voters as we can across the country to a
progressive victory.

We know our campaign is working.

One reason it’s working so well is that text messages have an 85% open
rate. No call program has that kind of contact rate. Another reason is
that one volunteer can reach thousands of voters in a single shift. No
door to door program has that kind of scale.

And while sending voters political mailers can be targeted to the same
high-potential, but infrequently-voting, demographics we’re reaching, a
piece of paper in the mail can’t have a conversation with voters to help
them actually get the information they need to vote.

Our Text Out The Vote campaign can.

Our volunteers are reaching millions of voters in 13 critical states --
including Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Florida, and Pennsylvania --
answering questions, providing critical state specific voting information,
and driving huge turnout for Democrats up and down the ballot statewide.
