Here’s the truth, Brandt: Thom Tillis is relying on Washington Republicans and his rolodex of corporate donors to drag him over the finish line in exactly one week. He’s begging for outside help because North Carolinians just plain don’t trust the guy.

On issue after issue, he puts his party before the people of our state — and is banking on that being enough to please the wealthy donors and corporate PACs who are crucial to his re-election.

We are entering the most intense and important week of any campaign. Every dollar that comes in will go right back out to help us win. And we expect Washington Republicans will try to thwart our plans by dumping even more money into North Carolina at the very last minute.

This is a make-or-break week — and since Mitch McConnell and his allies are worried about losing their Senate majority, they’re willing to do and spend whatever it takes to defeat our campaign.

That’s what we’re up against. To compete, we’ve set an ambitious goal of reaching 1,000,000 individual donations before the final fundraising deadline of this election expires on Saturday. Things will only get more intense as we inch closer, and we could really use your help making sure we have the funds to be prepared for anything in the last week:

Unlike our opponent, Cal is committed to putting North Carolinians first, which is why he refuses to take a single donation from corporate PACs. But Washington Republicans are spending massive sums of money to save this seat so Mitch McConnell and Thom Tillis can keep putting corporate special interests first.

North Carolinians deserve better. That’s why your donation matters so much today.
