Joe Biden and Donald Trump have shared the debate stage for the last time before November 3rd.
And while Trump managed to keep himself from interrupting every 10 seconds at this final debate, his tone couldn’t hide the fact that he spent much of it lying to the American people.
Donald Trump continues to insist that “we are rounding the turn” on coronavirus – even though we’re reaching peaks not seen since March.
Donald Trump claims Biden wants to “raise everybody’s taxes.” Biden has clearly stated he will not raise taxes on people earning less than $400,000.
Donald Trump reiterated his plans to pass a “much better” health care plan that would “always protect people" with pre-existing conditions – a promise he’s been making for years. In fact, his administration is arguing a case before the Supreme Court that would overturn the Affordable Care Act, and Trump has never put forth a plan to protect those with pre-existing conditions.
Donald Trump claimed he wants clean air and water without noting how his administration’s rollbacks contribute to more pollution and then rambled off a few baseless climate change conspiracy theories. Joe Biden laid out a climate plan rooted in science that would create jobs while fixing the crisis we are facing today.
Trump even tried to claim that Joe Biden is not really from Scranton. [?!]
