Dear Neighbor,

Early voting (#early) starts today, Saturday, October 24th and runs through next Sunday, November 1st.

You can only vote early at your designated early voting site, but you can skip the line, and drop your absentee ballot at any early vote location starting today or poll site on election day. Even if you voted by mail, you can still vote in person, your vote will not be counted twice.

You can still vote by mail (#mail) and track your ballot thanks to the implementation of a law I authored.

You are also welcome to vote in person between 6AM and 9PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd (#day) .

Please let me know if you have any difficulties with any step of the process at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or by calling 212-860-1950 on Election Day and we will be sure to protect your right to vote!

Regards,

Ben Kallos
Council Member

ELECTION DAY (day)

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, polls are open from 6AM to 9PM.

Verify your voter registration ([link removed]) and find your poll site ([link removed]) ahead of Election Day.

If you haven't received your absentee ballot yet, this is your last chance to vote. If you want to avoid the post office, you can skip the line and drop off your absentee ballot.

New York state has changed the law on third parties. Now, in order for them to maintain their ballot line, third parties must either receive 130,000 votes or 2% of votes (whichever is greater) every two years. If you wish to vote for any candidate on a third party line, your vote will be added to the candidate’s total.
