This is your last chance for 2X-MATCH. Just a few dollars can make all the
difference.

Days to Election Day: 11

John,

Did you read Schmidt's email? He sent a reminder of what has happened since
the first debate.

Now try to think of everything that has happened in the past four years.

Our country will not survive four more years of constant chaos and
destruction.

Four more years of Donald Trump exploiting the trappings of his office for
personal enrichment at the expense of the American people.

Four more years of deceit, malice, and incompetence at the cost of hundreds of
thousands of American lives.

We extended the 2X-MATCH deadline to TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT because we need you
in this fight with us, John.

Every penny you pitch in right now
<[link removed]> will have
double the impact in these final, crucial days of the election, when we need to
engage every potential Lincoln Voter, counter every Trump lie, and fight back
against attacks from Trump’s allies.

I don’t want to wake up on November 4 wishing I had done more. I know you
don't, either.

When Donald Trump screws up, he takes a mulligan, or files for bankruptcy.

But elections don’t have do-overs. We may not get a second chance to save our
Republic.

Just a few dollars can make all the difference.

Can you pitch in right now?

We're almost there.

Subject: John, let me remind you of a few things.

John, our actions right now will determine the version of America passed on to
the next generation.

💥Pitch in before the deadline for 2X-MATCH💥

The first general election presidential debate, held in 1960 between John F.
Kennedy and Richard Nixon, gave Americans a side-by-side portrait of the two
options before them.

The discussion was a rigorous dissection of policy issues which armed the
citizenry with the knowledge and confidence required to make a decision as
vital as choosing the leader of our Republic.

We could not have fallen further since.

The president’s tantrums and assclownery at the first debate were a stain on
his office, and an embarrassment for the entire country.

As I mentioned on a recent episode of The Lincoln Project Podcast, the most
important question that can be asked tonight is whether Donald Trump will
commit to the peaceful transfer of power—and it should be asked ad nauseam
until his answer issatisfactory for the leader of a liberal democratic republic.

Our president will not commit to a free and fair election—nor to even
defending it from foreign interference—because he knows he can't win without
cheating.

John, I want to remind you of what has happened just since the last time
Donald Trump and Joe Biden shared the debate stage:

→ Donald Trump and the White House attempted to cover up a coronavirus
super-spreader event that stemmed from the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett at
the Rose Garden.

→ Even after being infected, Trump played down coronavirus, compared it to the
flu and told Americans the pandemic is “nothing to worry about.”

→ Trump killed talks over a stimulus deal desperately needed by the American
people, claiming no deal would be made until “after I win.”

→ We learned former Attorney General Jeff Sessions said “we need to take away
children” in the early stages of the administration’s child separation policy
at the U.S.-Mexico border.

→ The parents of 545 children separated at the border cannot be found.

→ 13 men were arrested for plotting to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen
Whitmer, after Trump tweeted “LIBERATE MICHIGAN” in response to Governor
Whitmer’s coronavirus policies. Trump then attacked Whitmer, and continues to
incite violence.

→ Tax records show that 200+ companies, special interests, and foreign
governments funneled millions of dollars to Trump’s properties while reaping
favors and benefits from the White House.

→ The White House ignored warnings that Rudy Giuliani is the target of a
Russian intelligence operation.

→ We learned 8 million Americans have fallen into poverty since May.

→ Trump’s former Chief of Staff John Kelly called Trump the “most flawed
person” he’s ever met.

→ It was revealed that Trump has a secret Chinese bank account, and has paid
China nearly $200,000 in taxes.

→ Iran and Russia are actively interfering in our election, with no response
from Trump.

→ Trump called on Attorney General Barr to open an investigation targeting Joe
Biden before the election.

→ Over 220,000 Americans have now died from the coronavirus. The 7-day average
for new cases in the U.S. was43,000 the day of the first debate. It’s now over
60,000.

We, the People, hold the power to end the chaos, end the destruction, and end
this presidency.

But we are running out of time, John. And this election will be determined by
our historic coalition answering this call to duty.

We will win. He will lose. Let’s end this right now.
