Greenhut’s new book explores water infrastructure solutions beyond storage and dams and examines the importance of water pricing and trading, regulatory reforms, desalination, wastewater treatment, and more.



Greenhut oversees R Street’s efforts in California, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Idaho, Washington state, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Wyoming and Hawaii as Western Region Director. A veteran journalist, he continues to write regular columns on California policy and politics and also serves on the Southern California News Group editorial board.
