John -- In a recent interview, Shelley Moore Capito said her time as a senator has been “very impactful” for both her and for her constituents.

I would argue she’s had a negative impact on the people here. Huge pockets of West Virginia still don’t have reliable broadband access, our infrastructure is crumbling, about 60% of West Virginians are facing eviction, and now Shelley’s about to rubber stamp a Supreme Court nominee who may very well destroy the only source of healthcare that many West Virgnians are able to get.

In that same interview, Shelley claimed that nearly all her donors are West Virginians, when in fact, more than 77% of her donations come from out of state. She has spent years claiming she’s fighting the opioid epidemic, while taking Big Pharma PAC money. When it comes to fighting this crisis, one of our biggest hurdles is special interests, the same ones funding her campaign.

The people will never have a champion in Capito. It’s time for a senator who will truly work for the people, NOT special interests. Help me win this seat and send Shelley packing.

Capito’s lies show just how out of touch she is with both reality and the people she was elected to represent. For instance, she claims she worked through the summer on the next CARES package, when in reality, she fell in line with Trump and McConnell in resisting the legislation that Americans desperately needed.

She claims her constituents want her to confirm this Supreme Court nominee when, in fact, many Americans would rather see the COVID-19 pandemic and the integrity of this election prioritized first.

Shelley’s not fooling anyone. She lies as easily as the president she votes with almost 95% the time, and West Virginians are suffering for it.

Capito is leaving a legacy of lies and we must vote her out. Can you dig deep right now to help me win this Senate seat?

We deserve truly representative elected officials who don’t open their pockets to accept corporate cash from industries that exploit our people, like Big Pharma.

We deserve a senator who knows what it’s like to be an everyday American who faces everyday challenges.

Isn’t it time to flip this system on its head and make one that works for everyone, not just the privileged few?

We’re almost to the finish line with about 11 days to go. I’m asking you to stick with me in the final stretch; we can’t let up now.
