"For voters in S.E. New Mexico, 2nd Congressional District race one of the tightest in the country" - NewsWest 9

I want to take a second to talk to you about my friend Xochitl's race again -- Xochitl Torres Small is competing in an "extremely tight" race to defend a critical blue House seat.
Xochitl has a narrow two-point lead in the polls, and Cook Political Report rates her race as a toss up.

And at the same time, President Trump, Washington Republicans, and the gun lobby are teaming up to help Xochitl's Republican opponent unseat her.

Xochitl is counting on our grassroots support to fight back against the Washington Republican dark-money machine, so she can defend a critical blue seat and the House Majority. If you can, please split a contribution between Xochitl's campaign and the Southwest Leadership Fund today.

Can you volunteer to make calls, send texts, or help out her campaign in any other way?

I've known Xochitl for years. She was an organizer on my first Senate campaign and then worked in my Senate office.

I knew then Xochitl would be a great leader for New Mexico, and during her first term in Congress, she's proved me right:

Xochitl is guiding New Mexico's 2nd District through the pandemic by providing critical resources to rural hospitals, ensuring access to health care, and helping small businesses keep their doors open.

She's leading the charge to protect clean water and our public lands.

She's a tremendous partner committed to working with our tribal communities.

We can't afford to lose Xochitl's leadership in the House. With just over a week left until Election Day, this is the last time I'll ask before Election Day: Will you split a contribution between Xochitl and the SLF?

This is one of the most competitive races in the country, and we need everyone to pitch in these last days before the election. Even if you aren't able to make a contribution at the moment, please consider supporting Xochitl's campaign by volunteering to make calls, send texts, or volunteer in another way.
