It's not looking good, John. We're just over two weeks away from the election and we keep falling behind on our fundraising goals. When we don't hit our daily online fundraising goals, we might have to pull our ads and limit our outreach to voters. This is the closest race in the country, so that's not good. And right now we're not on track to hit today's goal.

We need to raise $63,256 by midnight tonight -- will you pitch in $5 right away to help us hit our daily goal?

Our voter outreach program is absolutely essential if we're going to beat back Mitch McConnell and national Republicans' $75 MILLION in nasty, misleading attacks. They know this race is tied and they're doing -- and spending -- everything they can in these last few weeks to defeat us at the last minute. With control of the Senate on the line, we cannot let that happen.

We need all hands on deck to help us close our fundraising gap and hit today's goal. Otherwise we'll have to make hard cuts -- going dark on TV, or even pulling our online ads. Democrats are so close to flipping the Senate so we can't fall behind now.

John, we'll be honest, we screwed up and thought we'd be further ahead today. These things happen, but this is the worst possible time for our fundraising to take a dip.

Control of the Senate hinges on Iowa. Falling short of our daily goals by even just $5 could cost us this race. We need to know we can continue to count on your support.
