Dear John,
WOW! I continue to be amazed by the response to our people-powered campaign. This week, we made history and crossed the 2,000 contribution mark! But with only 16 days left until election day, our work isn't done yet!
First, we gathered in homes for meet and greets before this pandemic hit to share our ideas for a more equitable DC.
Then, we took to the streets to protest systemic racism and inequity.
Now, we're back in the streets (masked up) to make sure everybody knows about our platform to help small businesses stay afloat during this pandemic, expand homeownership opportunities, equitably fund our schools, pass universal afterschool programs, and create more good-paying jobs through improved vocational training programs.
