Confirm Amy Rally
This past week saw a flurry of activism in Washington, D.C. and all around the country with Heritage Action Sentinels showing support for Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

During the first morning of confirmation hearings, hundreds of activists gathered in our nation’s capital to show their support with “Confirm Amy” signs and t-shirts, marching through Capitol Hill and lining the sidewalks outside the hearing.
Throughout the morning, marchers talked with the media and created a strong, visible presence of support for Barrett’s confirmation.
That afternoon, they called senators’ offices, urging them to #ConfirmAmy.
Following Monday’s hearing, Heritage Action hosted a #ConfirmAmy press conference with senators, conservative groups, and grassroots activists responding to the day’s hearings and showing continued support for her swift confirmation. Speakers included Senate Judiciary Committee members Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, Mike Lee, and Josh Hawley, Heritage Action Executive Director Jessica Anderson, and leaders from nine other groups including Judicial Crisis Network, Concerned Women for America, Tea Party Patriots, and Susan B. Anthony List.

The press conference gave an opportunity for conservative voices to be heard and drew the media to cover the groundswell of conservative support for Judge Barrett. See examples in the Washington Examiner <[link removed]>, New York Post <[link removed]>, and Deseret News <[link removed]>.

Afterward, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) joined Executive Director Jessica Anderson on our weekly Sentinel Strategy Call to recap the first day of hearings. If you aren’t already a Sentinel, become one now <[link removed]> to receive these exclusive strategy calls each Monday evening and listen to last week’s discussion with Sen. Cruz here! <[link removed]>
Heritage Action in the News
Executive Director Jessica Anderson joined CNN's Christiane Amanpour <[link removed]> to talk SCOTUS. Jessica highlighted the court’s correct purpose to “protect the Constitution and the rule of law while...many Democrats view it as a super-legislature...where they can enact policies that they may not be able to push through Congress or the White House...”

In an interview with Bill O’Reilly <[link removed]>, Vice President Garrett Bess shares how Democrats are trying to make the 2020 election a referendum on personality, but in reality, voters also care about policies that will affect them.

Fight for America Stories
Sentinel Sandy Chiong thanked Senator Lindsey Graham for his commitment to swiftly confirm Judge Barrett outside a town hall interview in Spartanburg, S.C.
Ohio “Back the Blue” Rally
Sentinel Randy Kleine took our Back the Blue yard signs to a rally supporting law enforcement in Delaware County, Ohio last weekend. Congressman Troy Balderson (R-OH), spoke at the event and signed our Police Pledge <[link removed]> that day. Rep. Balderson said <[link removed]> in a Facebook post, “Defunding the police only makes our families and communities less safe. Proud to join so many wonderful Delaware County law enforcement families and supporters today to honor our brave women and men in blue!”
Canvassing in battleground states
Heritage Action has been canvassing swing voters in battleground states talking about issues like law and order and the Supreme Court. This week alone, we knocked on over 30,000 doors! While canvassing in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Sentinel Peter Linko had a great conversation with a pair of voters whose father is a police officer. He gave them some of our “Back the Blue” yard signs, which they are now proudly displaying outside their home.
Murfreesboro, TN “Freedom Rally”
Tennessee Sentinel Steve Hasty hosted a rally last weekend supporting police, freedom, and life with Sentinels and citizens from around the area. Another rally is planned for October 25th as well as a Freedom Caravan from all the counties surrounding Nashville culminating in a huge rally in downtown Nashville.
The Police Pledge
The Police Pledge continues to gain signatures and the total now stands at over 223,000. Officials and candidates continue to sign in addition to citizens, with more and more coming in every day.

Among them is Congressman Troy Balderson (R-OH), who as mentioned above, signed at an event last weekend when a Sentinel had copies of the Pledge for attendees to sign. This goes to show that we have the most impact when engaging with our elected representatives in person!
>>Share this video on Facebook <[link removed]> and Twitter <[link removed]> to encourage your friends to sign the Police Pledge and help us stand for law and order and against defunding the police!
