New Schedule: Honoring Ward 3's First Responders

To honor the anniversary of September 11th, Councilmember Cheh will tour
all of the fire houses in Ward 3 to deliver cupcakes and visit with FEMS
staff. This morning, Ward 3's firefighters responded to a 2 alarm fire in
the Van Ness neighborhood, resulting in an adjustment of today's firehouse
visit schedule.

Residents are invited to join Councilmember Cheh and give a special thanks
to our first responders at any of the firehouses below:
* 1:00 pm: Ceremonial Resolution Presentation with Mayor Bowser and Chief
Dean at Engine 16 downtown, 1018 13th Street, N.W.
* 2:30 pm: Engine 29 in the Palisades, 4811 MacArthur Boulevard, N.W.
* 3:00 pm: Engine 20 in the Tenleytown, 4300 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W.
* 3:30 pm: Engine 31 in Forest Hills, 4930 Connecticut Avenue, N.W.
* 4:00 pm: Engine 28 in Cleveland Park, 3522 Connecticut Avenue, N.W.
