John -- I wanted to make sure I thanked you for your help this past week.

Last night, we faced our final FEC fundraising deadline of the election and we needed to raise $500,000 to keep us on track in these final weeks.

This grassroots team has always had my back before, and yesterday was no different. Folks like you stepped up in a big way and thanks to your generous support, we hit our final FEC goal!

I'm so grateful to have you on my team, John, and I know that if we keep working together we're going to win this thing. Voting has already started in Iowa -- in fact, I even turned in my mail-in ballot this week. I'm a scrappy farm kid, and I never thought I'd run for Senate -- it was a true honor to turn in my ballot.

And with Iowans voting, we can't waste any time in getting back to work. Ours is the closest race in the country. That's why Mitch McConnell and his allies are spending over $75 MILLION to defeat us. But we have something McConnell doesn't -- the strength of this grassroots team, which has proven time and again we have what it takes to get this job done.

But we need to keep the pressure on all the way to Election Day. If we lose Iowa, we lose our best shot at taking back the Senate majority. We can't let that happen.

Flipping this seat and taking back the Senate won't be easy, but this scrappy farm kid isn't afraid of a tough fight. I hope I can count on you to continue having my back all the way through Election Day.
