Our final finance deadline of the election cycle is tonight and if we don't raise $2,500 by midnight, we're going to have to pull Melissa's ad off of TV - all but ensuring another four years of Superintendent Arntzen.

This race is tied, and the best way to ensure a win in 20 days is to keep Melissa's ad up on TV so she can continue getting her message out until the very end. Will you please help us and chip in $10 right now?

Melissa and I are both so lucky to have grown up attending Helena's public schools. We know our public schools are some of the best in the country, but they're also under attack by both of our opponents. These folks would rather see our schools privatized than remain open to all students.

Let's be clear: public funds are for public schools.

Not only will our next state superintendent be responsible for guiding our school communities through the remainder of this health crisis, but they will also need to push back against schemes that attempt to send tax payer dollars to private and for profit schools.

That is why it is imperative that we elect a strong public education advocate to lead the Office of Public Instruction. That is why we must elect Melissa Romano.
