Team, As the election nears, we have to report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission more frequently. So if you’re thinking, “Didn’t they JUST have a public fundraising deadline?” – well, you’re right! Tonight at midnight is the cutoff for the FINAL public filing. The amount we raise by midnight tonight will determine how many resources we can put toward our voter outreach efforts in these last few weeks – and coming up short of our goal will signal that our campaign is vulnerable. We’ve got a LOT planned for the final weeks of this campaign. We will be getting ads live across multiple platforms, plus we’ll be hosting virtual phone banks to make sure voters know the facts and how to safely cast their ballots. All of these plans could come to a halt if we can’t raise enough funds this month to make key investments through Election Day. This grassroots team of supporters has done incredible work to support David and his fellow Democrats and keep us all moving us forward.
