This is a really important moment for our team, which is why I'm reaching out.

You see, the polls show a very close race -- with the latest surveys from the New York Times, Data For Progress, and PPP all showing us in a statistical tie with our Washington, D.C. opponent.

No matter what poll you look at, it's clear this race is within the margin of error and could come down to a handful of votes in November.
