We just found out that a record-breaking 16 million voters registered to vote in Texas — and close to 300,000 registered in the last 20 days alone. That’s a good sign that Texas can turn blue in November. Yesterday, I teamed up with Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Stacey Abrams, Oprah and others for a phone bank to call 2.9 million Texas voters!
Texas isn’t a red state — it’s a low turnout state. If Democrats turn out new voters and Latino voters, we win—plain and simple. With today beginning early voting in Texas, we’re encouraging Texans to cast their ballot early. If we win Texas’s 38 electoral votes, Trump can’t contest the results on election night — it’s over.
