John -- I’m writing today to ask a huge favor. I know we send a lot of emails, but it’s one of the few ways we can reach our supporters to let them know how things are going. 

This race is heating up. Every day we gain new supporters across West Virginia who are ready to unite our fight and stand up to corporate greed and corruption. We have a real chance to flip this Senate seat, but to do it we can’t miss a single opportunity to reach another voter.

Election Day is just weeks away, people are already voting, and right now we’re slipping on our fundraising goals. And I need your help.

Our team is working around the clock to make sure people know about all the latest changes to voting in this pandemic. We’re fighting for every last vote because we MUST send Shelley packing, and rob Mitch McConnell of his majority.

I know times are hard for a lot of folks right now. As someone who is poor herself, the hardest part of my job as a candidate is asking people for some of their hard-earned money. But I know it’s the only way to compete and win against corporate funded Republicans.

To compete with Capito, and have a shot at taking this Senate seat from her and the GOP, we’ve got to bring in enough to scale our get out the vote program and help people figure out how to vote in a pandemic. 

In fact, in the second quarter of this year, our 100% people-funded campaign came really close to outraising Capito, so I KNOW we can do this if we keep pushing.
