Wow. If you thought our leaders in Texas weren’t backward enough, take a good look at Attorney General Ken Paxton.

As you may have heard by now, Paxton has been accused by top members of his office of crimes including bribery and abuse of office. But this doesn’t surprise me. This is the same bozo who was indicted in 2015 for Securities Fraud.

And if you’re still not convinced that he should resign, his track record alone on screwing us over should put the final nail in the coffin:

• Paxton threatened to prosecute Texans who vote by mail in order to protect themselves and their families during the coronavirus pandemic.


• Paxton also tried to eliminate the entire Affordable Care Act with no replacement for over a million Texans through a Health Care Repeal lawsuit.


• In April, Paxton undermined and violated Roe v. Wade by limiting a woman’s access to healthcare during the worst public health crisis of our lifetimes.

Here’s the bottom line -- Ken Paxton is a self-serving buffoon who thinks his corruption won’t come back to bite him. He needs to resign right now.
