Did you hear? The Austin American-Statesman just endorsed Julie for Congress — putting our grassroots movement in front of thousands of voters in TX-25.

Here's what they had to say:

"The terrible toll of the virus, which has killed more than 16,000 Texans and pushed more than 3.6 million to seek unemployment assistance, underscores what Oliver has been saying for years: We need to make sure people have health care coverage, and ensure they don't become uninsured if they lose their jobs.

...Her aim to improve health care coverage makes this Austin Democrat the clear choice for the congressional seat held by U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, R-Austin. Oliver's lived experience — once a teen mother on Medicaid, now an attorney specializing in health care finance — informs her expertise on one of the most complicated and important issues demanding Congress' attention."

They know what we've known all along — Julie is the best person to bring REAL representation back to Austin and Central Texas.

As exciting as this endorsement is, it won't mean anything if we don't keep fighting to reach undecided voters and turn out our supporters as early voting begins across Texas this Tuesday. Right now, we've got an incredible team of organizers and volunteers out on socially distanced literature drops, making phone calls, sending text messages, and sharing more about Julie's positive message to work for everyone — not just a wealthy few.
