I’ve got some bad news.

We just learned that one of our opponents has dropped $200,000 in negative television ads across our district.

The ads, which lean into racist tropes and offensive stereotypes, are aimed at smearing Mondaire and misleading voters about where he stands on the issues.

The fact is, Mondaire doesn’t come from money or a political family, and he doesn’t look like the type of candidate we’re used to seeing in our politics. Not only do nasty, baseless ads like this send false information to our voters, but they send the wrong message to the next generation of young leaders who might be considering a bid for elected office.

And we only have a few weeks to set the record straight. There are just 23 days until the election, and voters across NY-17 are already mailing in their ballots. We can’t afford to let our opponent’s attacks go unanswered.

Can you chip in today to help our campaign fight back, counter these terrible ads, and get out the vote for Mondaire? [[link removed]]

Thank you again for supporting our campaign. You’re part of this movement because you know who Mondaire is — a fighter for working-class Americans, voting rights, and justice for all.

I look forward to working alongside you to elect him to Congress in just 23 days!
