I need to be blunt, friend.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been getting SLAMMED with out-right lies on the airwaves thanks to my opponent and her super PAC backers.

It’s the stuff you expect to see from the far-right -- light on any real critiques, but super heavy on the dog-whistles and fear-inducing imagery.

These sorts of attacks are nothing new -- in fact, I’ve grown used to them. But the blunt truth is that $6 million is a whole different ball game. With Election Day around the corner -- and my race neck and neck -- these commercials could seriously destroy our chances.

That’s why I need to ask:

We’re coming up short of our end-of-week fundraising goal, but if just 3 people from 19125 chip in $3 today, we can make up the difference. Can I count on you to donate today? >> [link removed]

No matter what attacks come our way, we’re sticking to our principles and running a grassroots campaign focused on the issues that matter to all Texans. So thanks in advance for helping us make up the deficit so we can set the record straight.
