Honoring Ward 3's First Responders

On Wednesday, September 11th, Councilmember Cheh will recognize and thank
the District’s Fire & Emergency Medical Service responders with a
Ceremonial Resolution for the significant sacrifices they make for our
community. In honor of the upcoming National Day of Service, Councilmember
Cheh will also tour all of the fire houses in Ward 3 to deliver cupcakes
and visit with FEMS staff.

Residents are invited to join Councilmember Cheh and give a special thanks
to our first responders at any of the firehouses below:
* 11:00 am: Ceremonial Resolution Presentation with the Mayor at Engine
16 downtown, 1018 13th Street, N.W.
* 1:00 pm: Engine 29 in the Palisades, 4811 MacArthur Boulevard, N.W.
* 1:30 pm: Engine 20 in the Tenleytown, 4300 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W.
* 2:00 pm: Engine 31 in Forest Hills, 4930 Connecticut Avenue, N.W.
* 2:30 pm: Engine 28 in Cleveland Park, 3522 Connecticut Avenue, N.W.
