This isn't new, team, but it's certainly disgraceful.

Sen. Cornyn has been spreading COVID-19 misinformation from the very beginning, despite receiving Intelligence Committee briefings in early February about how dangerous the pandemic could become. Let’s elect someone who will listen to scientists and take this global crisis seriously.

FIRST, he played down COVID-19 -- making jokes and taking photos with his beer.

THEN, he tried to play off COVID-19 by saying that no one under the age of 20 had died from COVID-19, and that we didn’t know if children can get and transmit the disease -- right before saying that it was safe for kids to go to school in person. We can’t trust him to protect our kids.

AND, despite more than 210,000 Americans dying from COVID-19, he is CONTINUING to push a fringe theory that masks don’t do anything to protect us from spreading the disease.

NOW, he’s turning his back on all of us by refusing to work on a Coronavirus relief bill, just so he can ram through a Supreme Court nominee who could destroy health care protections for millions of us in the middle of a pandemic!

It’s just wrong, team. Sen. Cornyn has CONTINUED to push false narratives about COVID-19. This November, we have the opportunity to fire Sen. Cornyn and elect a real leader who will take pandemics seriously. Pitch in to elect MJ Hegar this November.
