A new Supreme Court term just kicked off and the Court’s conservative justices didn’t waste much time – Justice Thomas, with Justice Alito concurring, announced intentions to undo marriage equality.

With the chance to secure a 6-3 majority on the Court in the wake of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing, conservatives on the court are eager to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges, which declared that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.

We can’t rely on the Supreme Court to protect our civil rights anymore, folks. That’s why we need to protect our House Majority, flip the Senate, and elect Joe Biden so we can pass crucial legislation like my Equality Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
