“If you’re leading the herd, turn around more than once to make sure they’re still there,” my Grandpa always used to say. Yet career politicians always think they know what matters most to you because they spend tens of thousands of dollars on polling and focus groups rather than what our campaign does: spend time talking with folks where they’re most comfortable to really share what’s on their mind. I continue to hear what matters most to you because you told me last weekend at your backyard barbeque you invited me to. Or your neighbor told me over coffee at her kitchen table a few days earlier. Or maybe it was the parents I talked with after the parade while they waited for their children. Our campaign continues to receive numerous personal invitations into folks’ homes because what’s most important to you is personal and the stories you share with me are private. The trust so many have of you have given me because you know what I stand for and that you can count on me is why I started this campaign, and why we’re running full steam ahead every day over the next 6 months: we’re all in this together. If you feel the same way, please donate to our grassroots campaign. Leading comes from bringing people together and creating progress in solidarity. People are supporting our campaign because they know I’m with them, side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder. Please reply to this email and let me know when and where I can come visit you. And please donate to our campaign so families across this District can have the voice they trust to be their next Representative in Congress. Proud and honored to be in this fight alongside you, Jennie Lou Leeder Democrat for Texas’ 21st Congressional District Jennie Lou Leeder for U.S. Congress, 9901 Brodie Lane, Ste 160-300, Austin, TX 78748, USA Unsubscribe
