Dear Friend,

The pandemic raised the stakes in need for everyone to have high-speed internet. It is now vital for access to healthcare, ensuring our children don’t fall behind and the ability to work remotely.

When Senator Capito got to the U.S. Senate, she knew the lack of broadband access was holding West Virginia back. That’s why she launched Capito Connect to bring high-speed internet to all our communities.

Watch our new TV ad “Connected” where Senator Capito shares her motivation and hope for connecting all of West Virginia.

Over the last five-years, remarkable progress has been made. The mapping system has been corrected so we now know who has adequate speed and who doesn’t. This was an important step to enable local governments to apply for federal funds. More federal dollars are coming to our state to connect rural areas. Because of Senator Capito’s direct advocacy to Facebook they are investing in our future.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail said it best when they endorsed Senator Capito this week.

Capito has spearheaded a movement to secure more federal funding for broadband development in West Virginia – a crucial issue that has become even more vital and exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
