With early voting, absentee voting, and vote-by-mail already underway in states across the country, the stakes could not be higher. But stopping Trump and creating the change this country needs is going to take more than just flipping the Senate and winning the White House.

For the last four years, Republicans have broken out every dirty trick possible to suppress the vote — closing polling places in Black and Latino communities, setting up address requirements that impact Native communities, and creating hurdle after hurdle in the form of voter-ID laws.

Now, they’re ready to make these changes permanent. Another four years of Trump and a Republican Senate means a conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court ready to rubber stamp every voter suppression tactic the GOP can come up with.
