It’s National Bullying Prevention Month

Initiated by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2006, this month-long
event unites individuals with the powerful message that bullying should never
be a part of childhood. Get involved and take action at the local level to
prevent bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion in schools,
communities, and online. A few ideas include:

Order print products

Promote bullying prevention in the classroom, home, and community with these
powerful visuals that educate, inform, and inspire!


• Order a free Unity Day poster, available in English or Spanish. Plus, 10-packs
are available!
• Request free printed Informational flyers at [email protected] or download
copies, in Spanish and English
• Give a free bookmark to every student
• Download or order the bullying prevention 5-poster series and post in school
or around the community, available in English and Spanish
• Purchase a t-shirt or yard sign to encourage everyone to choose kindness,
acceptance, and inclusion all year
• Get a “Create a World Without Bullying” resource kit, which contains print
materials for at least 50 participants

Plan for Unity Day – wear and share ORANGE on Wed., 10/21, #UnityDay2020


• Download the Unity Day Guide, a colorful and informative 20-page overview
of important things to know about Unity Day and how to get involved
• Order a free Unity Day poster, available in English or Spanish. Plus, 10-packs
are available!
• Promote on social media with a sharable graphic from PACER NBPC’s library
of images

Inform and encourage K-12 students to address and prevent bullying


• Classroom Toolkits and Activities: Free resources to educate on bullying
prevention in school or at home
• Students with Solutions: A project designed for adults to engage youth through
art, writing, graphics, and videos for a chance to win prizes for their school

• Include Someone: Created in partnership with Cartoon Network, a campaign
designed to encourage inclusive acts in the classroom, in the community, and
at home

Partner Highlight

Snappy Tomato Pizza is partnering to share the importance of unity and encourage
everyone to get involved with National Bullying Prevention Month! Every Snappy
Tomato Pizza customer will receive an Agent of Change Handbook with their order,
which includes resources from PACER’s NBPC. In addition, all 47 Snappy Tomato
Pizza locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and New Mexico are requesting
one dollar donations to transform any round medium or large Snappy Tomato Pizza
into a Unity Pizza by adding orange cheddar cheese to represent the color of
Unity Day. Every Unity Pizza donation will go directly to PACER’s NBPC. Customers
are encouraged to post images with their Snappy Tomato Unity Pizzas including
the hashtag #SnappyAgentofChange.
