We like to keep our communications to a PG rating here at Voto Latino, so we won’t tell you the word that actually came to mind when we read this news: Trump is registering more voters in key battleground states than Democrats are.

Chip in to register and mobilize young Latinx voters in battleground states!

This is happening right now, friends! The GOP is winning the registration battle and gaining an edge in the states where the presidential race is super close -- and where the outcome could determine the entire election.

Look at North Carolina: So far 83,785 new Trump supporters have registered there, compared to just 38,137 Democrats. And their voter registration deadline ends in about 48 hours!

And in Pennsylvania, “the state that’s currently most likely to decide the election” according to FiveThirtyEight.com’s Nate Silver, the GOP has signed up 135,619 new Trump voters compared to only 57,985 new Democrats. Will you donate to help us register more young Latinos who will vote Trump out?

The fact that new Trump voters are far outpacing new Democratic voters in these states could make all the difference. It could mean four more years of a destructive Trump presidency, instead of the beginning of a brighter and fairer future for all Americans.

We need to ramp up our voter registration efforts in North Carolina and Pennsylvania big time. And in the key state of Florida, where registrations have already ended, we’ve got to put our voter mobilization operation into full force. Can we count on you to pitch in now to help us do it?
