We've just launched our first counter-attack ad against Lee Zeldin. He has been spreading baseless lies about me for weeks online, in the mail, and on TV -- so we're fighting back.
But it's not just Lee spending against me. His far-right allies at the Congressional Leadership Fund are broadcasting those same lies to families across the district.
Today, I am personally asking you to help us counter their attack with the truth about Lee Zeldin and his three terms of looking out for himself over Suffolk families.
Every recent poll that we've seen shows we are statistically tied, but our data show if we can communicate the ways Zeldin has failed Suffolk County, we can win.
This race is CLOSE, Zeldin is one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the House, and voters are connecting with our pro-science message.
Thanks to you, we've invested in an outreach strategy that focuses on my unique skills as a scientist, my commitment to health care, and my commitment to using science to guide us out of this crisis, but now, we need to boost the facts about Zeldin's allegiance to Trump.
Zeldin has never faced a campaign like ours -- and we know he and the national Republicans funneling money into this race are worried that we'll flip this Red-to-Blue race. And if we can remain competitive in the final weeks, we will.
