Hi
John,
For no particular reason, I'm checking in to see how you are doing today.
Actually, you and I both know there's no shortage of reasons to check in on one another.
The world is upside down. In the past 24 hours alone:
- The late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was laid to rest while GOP senators disregarded her dying wish and callously paraded around Trump's anti-equality nominee to replace her.
- The Kentucky attorney general confessed that he never even asked the grand jury to consider murder charges for Breonna Taylor's death.
- And, last night, the president once again refused to condemn white nationalists and, instead, told his Proud Boys to "stand down and stand by."
Deep. Heavy. Sigh.
So where do we go from here?
First, make sure you have a plan to vote. If you are not sure what options are available in your state and when deadlines are, please reply to this email and we will get that information to you.
Next, don't concede RBG's seat to Mitch McConnell. This fight is not over,
John. We need you in the coming days and weeks to help us defend her legacy.
Finally, today is a tough day for so many reasons, but it makes me smile to share these new voter stickers with you.
