Friend,

Yesterday, Siena College (one of the most respected pollsters in New York) released its first survey of NY-24 this cycle. They found Dana with a small edge over John Katko as this race enters its last four weeks.

Poll: Dana Balter (D) 45%, John Katko (R) 42%

As reported by The Post Standard, the poll "reveals for the first time that Katko is thought of unfavorably by Central New Yorkers and has lost support among key independent voters with his embrace of an unpopular president."

This means that, despite being outspent and facing weeks of negative and dishonest advertising from John Katko and his allies, our campaign's message is breaking through -- and we have the momentum as ballots are being mailed out to voters.

But we can’t let up. The race remains in the margin of error, and it doesn't take much to shift a few percentage points in either direction. Our focus needs to remain on funding our television ads, so voters know that Dana will protect their healthcare, stand up for equality and reproductive freedom, and fight to get special interest money out of politics.

We are setting a new goal of $15,000 this week to boost our ad-buy. Can you pitch in now to help us sustain our momentum and secure our lead?
