Countdown to Victory: 29 Days until Election Day!


Trump In Charge

President Trump is not letting COVID-19 slow him down. As you know, the president was transferred Friday evening to Walter Reed Medical Center. Saturday evening, the president released a video ([link removed]) thanking those who were praying for him and rallying around the country on his behalf. Here's some of what he said:

"I just didn't want to stay in the White House. I was given that alternative. Stay in the White House, lock yourself in, don't ever leave. Don't even go to the Oval Office. Just stay upstairs and enjoy it. Don't see people. Don't talk to people and just be done with it. And I can't do that. I had to be out front.

"This is America. This is the United States. This is the greatest country in the world. This is the most powerful country in the world. I can't be locked up in a room upstairs and totally safe. . . I can't do that. We have to confront problems. As a leader, you have to confront problems."

That's quite a contrast between "Hidin Biden" and the chattering class that wants to shut the country down again. Biden has made it clear he wants to shut the country down.

And the left wants to shut Trump down. They want the schools shut down. They want sports shut down. They want Judge Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing ([link removed]) shut down.

The instinct of far too many in the media and the popular culture has been to shut America down and leave the world to the tender mercies of Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.

And exactly how is everyone else supposed to pay their bills? Commentators can talk from their home offices. But factories can't be run from home. Police can't stop crimes from home. Construction workers can't build new buildings from home. This economy isn't run from home.

In the wake of 9/11, George W. Bush flew to New York City to rally first responders who were still searching for bodies. It was possible that the city could have been attacked again. But Bush refused to hide in a bunker. America and the world needed to see our president.

Anyone who thinks the presidency can be managed from their basement should be kept as far away from the Oval Office as possible.

Meanwhile, President Trump tweeted ([link removed]) that he will be discharged from Walter Reed Medical Center this evening.



The Left's Hate

While the president was being treated by some of the finest doctors in America, the fever on the left continued unabated. Some leftists outside of Walter Reed shouted obscenities and hoped for the worst ([link removed]) .

In Friday's report, we told you about some of the reactions on the left. Sadly, such vile sentiments are not just rare isolated cases. One poll found that 40% of Democrats ([link removed]) said the news of Trump's positive COVID test made them feel "happy."

Here are some other examples of the left's irrational hatred.

Many progressives seemed to be taking their cues from Michael Moore ([link removed]) , who suggested that the president was faking his illness as some kind of a sympathy ploy. Radical anti-Semite Linda Sarsour ([link removed]) tweeted that Trump was using COVID to avoid another debate with Joe Biden.

During a press conference, one doctor was asked by a reporter if the president had actually checked into Walter Reed. The implication was that the president wasn't really sick. Within hours, however, they were accusing the president and the doctors of hiding just how sick ([link removed]) the president really was.

Radical environmentalist Naomi Klein ([link removed]) compared the president to a mass shooter, tweeting, "Trump getting Covid is the epidemiological equivalent of a mass shooting where the shooter opens fire on a crowd and then turns the gun on himself."

When the president drove by well-wishers at Walter Reed, the left attacked ([link removed]) him for putting Secret Service agents at risk. Really?

For months now, the left has demonstrated its hatred for law enforcement. They want to abolish ICE and defund the police. They have denounced law enforcement officers as the "Gestapo ([link removed]) " and "stormtroopers ([link removed]) ."

When 60 Secret Service agents ([link removed]) were injured protecting the White House, there were no statements from Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer condemning the violent behavior that put those agents at risk. There were no statements of concern for their well-being.

For months now, leading Democrats and the media have suggested that any drug or vaccine developed by the Trump Administration to protect us from the coronavirus is suspect.

For example, Governor Andrew Cuomo ([link removed]) has said that any vaccine approved by the administration will have to be approved by his experts before he will allow its use in New York. Others have suggested ([link removed]) that they will never take a drug or vaccine developed during the Trump years.

The president is taking an experimental drug "cocktail" ([link removed]) to combat the coronavirus. Today, reporters are complaining that the drug is in very limited supply yet the president managed to get it. So some are saying we can't trust a "Trump medicine" while others are asking why everyone can't get a "Trump medicine."

When crowds gathered outside Walter Reed, sometimes they were cheering and holding up signs. Periodically they stopped and prayed. Left-wing reporters who couldn't bring themselves to condemn violent riots described happy, praying Trump supporters as "a total circus ([link removed]) ."

My friends, I want to reiterate that the left doesn't just hate Donald Trump. They hate you. They hate your values and they hate anyone who stands up for them and our country. Don't ever forget what the left did to George W. Bush ([link removed]) , to John McCain ([link removed]) , to Sarah Palin ([link removed]) , to Mitt Romney ([link removed]) and to Paul Ryan ([link removed]) .



About Those Ads. . .

I want to correct the record because Big Media won't do it.

The Biden campaign announced Friday to great fanfare that it would stop running negative ads ([link removed]) while the president was recovering. The media praised Biden for such a magnanimous act.

There's just one problem: They're still running negative ads on social media ([link removed]) .



Polling Propaganda

I suspect some are very worried by the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, which shows Joe Biden leading Donald Trump by double digits.

Well, the poll is garbage. It is propaganda. It is just more evidence that Big Media are manipulating the polls to demoralize conservatives. It's their way of meddling in our elections.

The poll dramatically oversampled Democrats. So much so that it assumed turnout this November would favor the Democrats more than it did in Barack Obama's historic 2008 election!

By the way, a NBC/Wall Street Journal poll around this time in 2016 also found Hillary Clinton ([link removed]) leading Donald Trump by double digits.
