As we face down the final month of this election, I wanted to share an inside look on our field strategy:

Turn out Democratic voters. There are 30,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans in CA-25. California is mailing every registered voter a ballot, so if we make sure every Democrat returns theirs, we can win.
Reach new voters. Ventura County has a record high of registered voters. That's folks new to voting or new to the district who need to be introduced to Christy ASAP.

Simple, right? Well, these two pieces mean more work than a traditional election, so we'll have to spend more than we planned on voter contact efforts. That money has to come from somewhere, but we can't afford to cut into our TV or radio ad budgets.

That's why I'm asking the folks we know we can count on -- like you, John -- to donate right now and help win this race. As a dedicated supporter, you've been a vital part of this campaign since the beginning. And we need you now more than ever as we work to turn out every last Democratic voter and reach every new voter in CA-25.
