We know that right now, the news cycle is stressful. There's something new happening every day. But despite all of that, the election is only 30 days away--and we need to keep working to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. Pennsylvania is a critical battleground state, and Republicans are doing all they can to make voting harder ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

How can you help?

This week on October 8th, we have our Fluff-Raiser, our last fundraiser for the year. Because Deb and Jonathan are in Pennsylvania (and because of the lack of door-knocking this year due to Covid-19) they are both doing TV ads to garner as much name recognition as possible, and that can be expensive! So any last-minute funds we can send their way makes a difference. What's a Fluff-Raiser, you ask? Well, it's a fundraiser where some of our volunteers are showing off their pets! We’ve scheduled four dogs, four cats, a sugar glider, a horse, a passel of foster kittens, and a plant. Yes, a plant. A very photogenic plant. Don't forget, we also have phone banks every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday running up until the election, and we'll be making calls for both Jonathan and Deb. We need to make as many calls as possible, and get voters to turn out. Every single call counts, and if you've never phone banked before, don't worry--experienced volunteers will be there to help you!
