Friends,

The Trump administration is constantly breaking the law - believe me, I know. But very little compares to the stark disregard for the laws of the United States and the laws of humanity that the Trump administration has shown in its treatment of immigrants. Today in 2019, the Trump administration is illegally detaining children without basic necessities such as toothbrushes or soap.

As an immigrant myself, and as a human being, I know that the Trump administration’s immigration policy is inhumane and unacceptable. We cannot be heartless in the face of children suffering. It is the epitome of cruel to punish families for parents’ attempts to escape violence and seek asylum for their kids.

Democratic Attorneys General are fighting back in court to protect these children's human rights and ensure they are treated with compassion and care. And we need your support.

Sign the petition to tell the Trump administration that what they are doing to immigrant children is absolutely unacceptable: [link removed]. We cannot allow this administration’s racist and hateful policies to undermine our nation’s values.

Add your name to stand with children and families: [link removed]

Thank you for speaking out,
Attorney General Karl Racine
