Get Out the Vote: Opportunities to Mobilize People

Organizations and advocates throughout the movement for social justice are mobilizing with an eye toward the November election and ensuring that low income people have opportunities to vote safely and successfully. Join Coalition on Human Needs, NLIHC, the Food Research & Action Center, and NETWORK for Get Out the Vote: Opportunities to Mobilize People.

This webinar presentation will review:

  • Best practices for Getting Out the Vote (GOTV) both on election day and through the early voting period.

  • Attendees will learn about overcoming common obstacles to voting, protecting voters from voter intimidation or suppression, and preparing for Vote Early Day.

Speakers include:

  • Chynna Baldwin, senior national coordinator for election protection at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law;

  • Joey Wozniak, Project Director at Vote Early Day; and

  • other guest presenter(s).
