Friend  --

I still remember the day I decided to run for Congress.

It was well over a year ago, and I never imagined I’d make it this far. People like me aren’t expected to run for office, and there were dozens of naysayers telling me that I didn’t stand a chance.

But here we are.

With your help, we have defied the odds and now stand within striking distance of flipping one of the most competitive House districts in the country. And it means so much to me that your grassroots support is what has allowed me to run a campaign free of corporate influence and focused on the issues impacting our district -- housing, economic injustice, and affordable health care.

We’re closing in our final quarterly fundraising goal -- we’re only $2,309 short. Can you chip in a donation to put us over the top?

Here’s the best link to give:

Thanks for standing with me,

Candace
