John,

Mississippi is one of only three states in the nation that levies a full sales tax on groceries -- but Jim Hood is going to change that.

Jim has a plan to cut the grocery tax in half. He knows that allowing families to save a few extra dollars means they won’t have to make the tough choice between a gallon of milk for their kids and paying the bills on time. Jim knows how important your hard-earned dollars are -- which is why we only ask for donations when we really need it. He has a plan to make our state work better for everyone -- but we’re counting on your help to make those plans a reality.

Can you chip in now to show your support for Jim’s plan to help Mississippi families?

Jim’s plan would save the average Mississippi family $153 every year -- ensuring that Mississippians will have less to worry about when it comes to putting food on the table.

If you agree that it’s time to level the playing field for Mississippi families, make a contribution to Jim’s campaign now.

Thank you for your continued support,

Neil, Team Hood
