After I wrote to you this afternoon concerning tonight's final FEC filing deadline, HUNDREDS MORE people stepped up to help us close in on our goal. Our records show that you haven’t made a contribution yet -- and I’m really hoping you’ll pitch in now to help us raise $8,200 more before midnight so we can go into October strong. Right now, it’s clear that we need scientists in Washington. My opponent Lee Zeldin has his corporate PAC buddies stockpiling dark money to fund his re-election campaign in these final days. And he’s got Donald Trump and Mike Pence in his corner, too.

Trump allies like the Congressional Leadership Fund are funneling outside money to prop Zeldin up and attack me on TV and by mail, so we’ve got our work cut out for us.
