It's Nabilah here. I know we've sent a lot of emails over the past week asking for your support, but I wanted to reach out and talk to you about what's at stake with this election, and why exactly it's so important that you pitch in.

I started The Progressive List earlier this year because I wanted to create an organization dedicated to helping elect progressive candidates at the local, state, and federal levels. The progressive movement in this country has been disjointed and disorganized for too long -- and that's meant less money raised and fewer elections won.

But now, there's an even bigger threat to our democracy. Republicans -- spearheaded by Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell -- are running this country into the ground.
